2nd Varna International Master Swimming Championships Watch or compete in the 2nd Varna International Master Swimming Championships to be held at the Yulian Russev swimming pool in the Primorski swimming complex, featuring a 50m outdoor pool with 8 lanes. This event is hosted and organized by Albatross Masters – Varna Swimming Club with the support of the Municipality of Varna and the Bulgarian Masters Federation.

The Day of Varna starts with a Divine Liturgy and icon procession at the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral. Throughout the day, ensembles and performers showcase their art on the Rakovina Stage in the Sea Garden, leading up to an evening concert at the Open-air Theater. The ceremony bestows the title Honorary Citizen of Varna on Bulgarian and foreign individuals for their contributions and merits to the development of the municipality. A late-night rock and pop concert is also held in the Port of Varna recreational zone.

The International May Choir Competition was named after the renowned Bulgarian composer Georgi Dimitrov, the founder of the contemporary Bulgarian choral school. Since 1989, it has been a member of the Organizing Committee of the Grand Prix Europe International Contest, which takes place in Arezzo (Italy), Debrecen (Hungary), Tour (France), Maribor (Slovenia), Varna, and Tolosa (Spain). These six competitions are among the most prestigious in Europe, known for their long tradition, excellent organization, and high artistic level.
