Arkutino Marsh Nature Reserve

On the landside of the main road, Burgas-Rezovo, just minutes away from Arkutino Beach, is the Arkutino Marsh Nature Reserve. It is part of the more significant Ropotamo reserve. The area features sand lily flowers and white and yellow water roses. The marsh is home to a rare gambusia fish. Arkutino marsh is the main stopover for birds on the Via Pontica flyway, and many rare species of birds nest here.
